Where are the true friends?

It's a real waste of time to be in a group of "friends" who don't really care about you and they don't really care about themselves either, because they are HYPNOTIZED by the social programming, and this is what it "teaches". No loyalty, no trust, no caring, because if you do one of those you're "weak", good SOUNDING ideas what are only food for the ego, but no REAL use in life. BUY cool stuff, BUY ideas, BUY (false) freedom, BUY my book and learn how to be cool! BUY anything just to escape from yourself, and be someone else who fits in the crowd, so everyone will love you (yeah, right...).

The things Dave talks about opened up my eyes and I realized who are my true friends. You'll find your true friends when a big problem appears. Usually the ones who always say you're their best friend will run away and leave you in a big problem, or even blame the problem on you, but the ones who can say I'm your friend, and I'm with you no matter what even in hard times are the ones you have to really care about. That one R in fRiend can make a really big difference! The R of REAL!

  1. I absolutely agree - only real friends stay by your side when you're in trouble. But you always should keep it in mind, that even if you have a friend, who's real (or parents - i guess in normal circumstances they are true "friends", at least my parents are really true friends of mine), there are situations when you can rely only on yourself. I think it's important to realize this, and to live your life and do your things, your trainings (not only in the dojo, but in everyday life, mentally) always remembering this.
